Payroll Specialist/Accounts Assistant Dublin 7 Full Time 8:30am-5:30pm Mon -Thurs and 9am-2pm Friday

This includes Small Self-Administered Pension Schemes, Personal Retirement Savings Accounts, Personal Retirement Bonds and Approved (Minimum) Retirement Funds. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual, who wants to work for a progressive group of companies. The role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to learn about our industry and pensions in general. Full training and support will be provided.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experienced with payroll processing, familiarity with Sage payroll is desirable but not essential
  • IPASS preferable but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience processing high volumes of data
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously

What will your role look like?

Payroll Duties

  • Process monthly payroll for circa 100 pension clients using payroll software.
  • Respond to internal and external questions and queries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax legislation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely Revenue returns.
  • Take the lead on annual payroll project for circa 950 pension clients.

Accounts Receivable Duties

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts and records.
  • Contact customers regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment plans.
  • Resolve customer queries and disputes related to invoices and payments.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address client issues.
