Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Reports to: Head of P&C
Business Unit: Shared Services
Location: Dublin
Key Role Responsibilities
⢠Preparation and verification of monthly payrolls for our 500 employees.
⢠Checking, reviewing, and inputting of payroll data for accuracy, ensuring that
deadlines are met.
⢠Liaising and managing relationships with outsourced payroll providers.
⢠Responsibility of processing and reconciliation of employee pension payments
⢠Responsibility of processing and reconciliation of employee Health Care BIK and
payment to health care providers.
⢠Responsible for processing and reconciliation of bank transfers and funding to support
payroll payments runs.
⢠Support managers and employees with payroll queries and manage outcomes.
⢠Complete registrations and audits for new hires and manage employee exits from a
payroll perspective.
⢠Calculating and processing any intercompany payroll recharges.
⢠Calculate bonuses and allowances.
⢠Report on payroll expenses in compliance with the Enhance Reporting Requirements.
⢠Ensure salaries and tax withholdings comply with regulations.
⢠Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes, and insurance deductions.
⢠Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures.
⢠Managing relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance and P&C ⢠Line
manager responsibility for Payroll Coordinator
Education, Qualifications and Skills required
⢠A minimum of an Accounting Technician or Irish Payroll Association (IPASS) or equivalent
qualification.
⢠Bachelorâs degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
⢠A minimum of 5 years payroll experience.
⢠Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
⢠Strong knowledge in Irish Income Tax.
⢠Customer service experience and focus on excellence.
⢠Accuracy and attention to detail.
⢠Excellent communication skills.
⢠Fluency in English.
⢠Experience with international payroll is a plus but not essential.
