Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to a plant that is growing significantly over the coming years going from just over 400 people to more than 850 across two locations (Limerick and Shannon) in order to help patients around the worldWork with an integrated multi-disciplinary team across many functions and departments all within a global, US based organizationDevelop robust strategic talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies across the plant. Responsible for developing a high performing team across the plantDrive change, results and progress through multiple strategic, plant-level projects with highest criticality including prioritizing and selecting appropriate projectsResponsible for managing plant P&L, developing manufacturing facility policies, and authorizing their implementation while ensuring product quality and safetyEnable and lead innovation, process optimization, and the implementation of continuous improvement programs within the plantOversee the development of plans that support commercial and new product development/launches plansCollaborate with other leaders within the company to help develop and inform strategic objectives and initiativesShould we call out reporting relationship - Provide clear direction for leadership team (not all have direct reporting relationships to plant manager) to ensure clarity of expectations and responsibilities.Serve as the organizations local representative with external parties (e.g., local state and national government, community, other manufacturing peer organizations, regulatory/governmental agencies)Drive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principles and EW Production System (EPS)Think we should have point on EHS - prioritizes and holds site leadership accountable for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in related field, related experience in manufacturing operations requiredMaster's Degree or equivalent Preferred

Additional Skills:
Past experience/Proven track record of leading teams within complex multifaceted environments with the objective of building a culture of collaboration, transparency, openness and results that enables people to do their best workPast experience working in a medical device/clean room environment required, experience working in a similar highly regulated industry preferredStrong project management skillsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision makingExcellent interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectivesAbility to communicate effectively with a broad audience, including all levels of employees, corporate and business unit counterparts, and external contacts (e.g., government bodies, industry trade associations, business partners), including the ability to influence those that are outside of this individuals organization.Expert understanding of manufacturing and operations procedures, processes and/or systems with extensive and detailed knowledge of company allowing for innovative concepts and promoting new ideasExpert knowledge of key regulations and standards (e.g., QSR, MDD, ISO)Past experience working with manufacturing and operational financesProven experience elevating and leading high performing individuals and teams as well as the ability to provide coaching and feedback,Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of manufacturing and operations to the businessNaturally partners with others at all levels including senior leaders in multiple locations and functions with the objective of developing strong working relationships and leveraging their expertise to advance the organization and address challenges as they present themselvesAn innate preference to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, mission driven environment with a results orientationAbility to interact internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters; influences policymaking
