Senior Receptionist – Inishowen Gateway Hotel

Location:Buncrana, Co. Donegal

TheInishowen Gateway Hotelis seeking a professional and experiencedSenior Receptionistto join our front office team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm welcome and excellent service for our guests while overseeing the smooth operation of the reception desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries efficiently.
  • Supervise and support the reception team to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Manage booking systems and coordinate with other departments.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of2+ years of experiencein a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel booking systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
