Description

Ballyfin Demesne is hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing.

This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about luxury hospitality, focused on driving revenue, and skilled in luxury sales & marketing. The Director of Sales & Marketing will oversee sales, marketing, and revenue, working to enhance the hotel’s brand, guest experience, and achieve revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and wider team to develop and implement strategic business plans, including an annual sales and marketing strategy aligned with hotel objectives.
  • Lead the functions of Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Events.
  • Identify new business opportunities across all market segments.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, tradeshows, and FAM trips, with international travel required.
  • Oversee sales and marketing budgets, ensuring alignment with hotel goals and financial expectations.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to execute brand, advertising, and marketing strategies, including reputation management.
  • Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to align with current market conditions.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Sales & Marketing processes.
  • Experienced in collaborating across revenue management, sales, and marketing functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good understanding of marketing tools with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Guest-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills, capable of working well within a team environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior sales & marketing position, such as Director of Sales & Marketing in luxury hospitality.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Valid Irish driver’s license.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales, Revenue, Marketing, or a related field.
