Job Description

We are hiring CNM2- Oncology Day Unit into a Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors and evaluates patient care processes and outcomes on the patient care unit to ensure that competent, compassionate, and efficient care is provided effectively.
    • Recruits and maintains skilled, empathetic employees while maintaining high performance standards and fostering fair labour practices.
      • Promotes a caring work environment by the availability of safe equipment and adequate supplies in an effectively organised physical setting.
        • Operates and participates in continuous quality improvement and risk management programmes at the unit level, working together with multidisciplinary colleagues.
          • Attends staff meetings, analyses emails, and checks other postings.
            • Improves the collegial consultant-nursing interaction by acknowledging the importance of creating a respectful working environment.
              • Monitors fiscal budget to control operational and capital expenditures while monitoring and adjusting staffing patterns to improve unit productivity.



              Requirements
              • The NMBI General Nurse licence is still valid.Oncology nursing qualification recognised after registration.
                • Have a postgraduate qualification in oncology nursing.
                  • Preferably have a post-graduate management qualification.
                    • Five years of clinical experience and two years of progressive managerial experience are necessary.
                      • Three years' experience in an oncology day unit is essential.
