Sales Specialist

Job Title: Sales Specialist

Reporting to: Business Unit Manager - WOC & IPC (Wound, Ostomy, Continence, Infection Prevention Control)

Location - Dublin Head Office - Territory Coverage West & East of Ireland.

Permanent Position

Core responsibilities will include:

To achieve the sales targets set for the territory.

To establish and maintain relationships with key accounts and target customers.

To keep abreast of developments and trends within the territory and to monitor and feedback competitor activity to business unit manager.

Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability/margins in line with delineated targets.

Identify and maximise new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.

Monitor customer accounts within the defined territory to ensure that the sales potential is fully exploited.

To provide educational and support service to key customers and all medical personnel for our Ambulatory market portfolio.

To attend and promote the Company and products at trade exhibitions, meetings and work visits.

To follow attraction, development and retention strategies with key and target accounts.

Can deal with several tasks at once, is able to cope with most normal situations, is seen as a reasonable individual capable of a healthy give and take relationship. Other individuals are able to present sensitive ideas in their presence. Is willing to compromise without compromising integrity.

Essential Requirements

Candidates who have a proven track record in hospital sales for a min. period of 2 years will be looked upon favourably.

A qualification to degree level & good business acumen.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Exceptional listening skills, strong presentation, and communication skills.

Demonstrate effective time management skills, administrative and effective written communication capabilities.

Full clean driving licence.

Full eligibility to work in Ireland.

Flexible working hours, the successful candidate must be able/willing to work if required outside of normal office hours.
