Responsibilities:

  • Maintain agreed standards consistently, with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene in bedrooms, public areas, and linen
  • Inspect rooms to company's 4* standards before they are returned to reception

Key Duties:

  • Clean assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using approved chemicals and equipment
  • Replenish bathroom and bedroom items to set standards
  • Change bed linen and towels according to schedule and standards
  • Keep accommodation trolley, caddies, and storage areas tidy and well-stocked
  • Hand over any guest property to Accommodation Manager
  • Inform Accommodation Manager of staff needs promptly
  • Optimize resource usage to minimize costs
  • Promptly report any maintenance issues
  • Coordinate with supervisor on room changes, VIP guests, and special requirements
  • Provide ongoing updates on room status to supervisor
  • Participate in training sessions and activities to enhance performance and standards
  • Adhere to the hotel's customer relations policy
  • Promote hotel services to guests
  • Handle customer complaints respectfully and promptly report them to the manager
  • Arrive on time for shifts in a clean uniform with a name badge
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming
  • Report DND or No Service daily
  • Keep corridors clear of obstacles continually
  • Ensure proper handling of key cards in your possession
  • Report all accidents to the Manager on Duty
  • Follow Fire, Security, Health, and Safety Procedures at all times
