Join our vibrant team and leave your mark on the future landscape of payment technology.European Merchant Technology oversees European POS & Terminal platforms, Gateway solutions, Boarding & Servicing, and Acquiring and Issuing platforms throughout Europe.The Technology Delivery and Relationship Director plays a vital role in our European Merchant Technology division, taking charge of project and program delivery for the UK&I Merchant Acquiring Business Unit. This position involves defining the IT engagement model for UK&I Merchant Acquiring, ensuring essential demands are met and driving relevant changes downstream.Working closely with Business Stakeholders and Product partners, the Director manages regional demand and supply, aligning technology delivery with key business strategic goals. They are responsible for the technology delivery roadmap for the UK&I Merchant Acquiring Business Unit, ensuring visibility into regional success measures and progress.Essential Responsibilities
  • Build a collaborative delivery model with Product, BTS (IT) & Engineering partners for the UK&I Region.
  • Ensure essential demands are met by cross-platform teams and drive necessary changes downstream.
  • Lead planning, prioritize tasks, create quarterly roadmaps, and track value & success.
  • Conduct high-quality project management for key initiatives.
  • Establish and manage effective steering and governance mechanisms up to executive level.
  • Resolve high-level risks and issues.
  • Work with the entire business to enhance and expedite the delivery process continuously.
  • Ensure Delivery team practices and processes are optimized and enhanced regularly.
  • Lead a team of skilled change professionals, ensuring engagement and alignment with business objectives.
  • Run high-performing delivery teams, improve delivery practices, and foster a culture of continuous enhancement.
  • Collaborate with the European Merchant Technology Management team to implement a People & Culture strategy across European Technology.
  • Key Success Factors: Positive trending Delivery metrics and Business Satisfaction ratings. Delivery of Strategic key results for the European Merchant Acquiring organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in project and program management.
  • Self-motivated individual with high standards and a proactive attitude.
  • Expertise in technology program change management and project management qualification.
  • Proven track record of delivery and execution against strategy, with experience in high-volume program management roles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills across organizational teams and locations.
  • Ability to drive individuals and teams to successfully deliver programs and projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen, capable of identifying and analyzing growth opportunities effectively.
