Job Summary :

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the IT Lead will be accountable for the efficient management of IT infrastructure (systems/network), IT Service Management (support services), and Information Security. The ideal candidate will have responsibility for all aspects of IT Operations, overseeing implementation, operations & maintenance of systems, and required processes to ensure the stability and availability of dependent information systems. The role would be based out of Dublin, Ireland, and reporting structure to the US-based parent company.

Key Responsibilities:

lProvide distributed desktop support, desktop and infrastructure maintenance, installation services, and problem resolution and help desk support. (*)

lFirst point of escalation for team members and management to ensure optimum service quality through ongoing management and continuous improvement initiatives.

lBeing proactive in all aspects of Service Management, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Requests, and Organizational Change, along with managing SLAs and communication plans.

lInstall Computer Equipment (Lease Replacements/New Hires, etc.).

lEnsure customer business needs are met while adhering to corporate standards and meeting Service Level Agreements.

lEnsure up to date with new technology and its benefit to the company direction.

lSupport and test IT Technology and provide feedback and may participate in research of non-standard product solutions to meet customer needs.

lPerform systems administration responsibilities including printers and host printer creation/maintenance.

lPerform and participates in DBAR (Disaster Backup and recovery) initiatives, Corporate Real-estate Project initiatives (Office Closures/Restacks/Consolidations), Major Project Initiatives (Application Rollout, Desktop Refresh, etc.).

lImplementing efficiency changes and improvements in ways of working.

lDeveloping strong working relationships with key partners, including business areas, IT project and development teams, risk and compliance, and relevant 3rd party suppliers.

lDriving continuous improvements by implementing processes and procedures that provide business value and improve functional performance.

lLeading issues and risks effectively, ensuring they are identified and actioned in line with controls.

lDemonstrating flexibility to cope with changing demands based on business priority.

Qualifications:

lMinimum of 4 years of IT infrastructure experience

lBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field

lKnowledge of SaaS solutions and operating systems (ex: Microsoft Exchange, MS365, Active Directory), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.

lStrong technical expertise in areas such as system administration, network management, and cybersecurity.

lExcellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and lead a diverse team.

lStrategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.

lComfortable in a startup environment, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable.

lCan demonstrate a keen awareness of the latest technological advancements such as the current AI, Cloud, and other recent trends

lPrevious experience of working internationally and with international support teams.

lCross Industry certifications are a plus.
