You will assist the Risk Control Partners (RCPs) and help advise the Global Service Centre (GSC), to ensure they adopt and implement the Risk Management Framework (RCF). Within this framework/ model, the 1st line is responsible for dynamic risk management and risk-based decision-making.

Working Hours:

  • The role will be a Hybrid Working Role and will require attendance in the Rabobank Dublin offices two days per week.

Main Tasks of Role:

The role of Junior Risk Control Partner focuses on preparing and supporting the Risk Control Partners in their activities relating to the dynamic risk cycle (e.g. finding / incident registration and closure, reviewing and monitoring the CSA activities).

This is achieved by, among other things:

  • Pro-actively supporting the RCPs and GSC by monitoring and reporting on the risks and controls activities thereby also create awareness and stimulating ownership.
  • Enter into a dialog, challenge and collaborate with stakeholders to further mature and improve quality

Have a Bachelor's degree or higher (e.g. Finance, business, economics, compliance & risk management);

  • An understanding of Risk Management and knowledge of causes, influences and drivers of operational risk;
  • An understanding of banking and finance operations;
  • Experience in managing risk, evaluating risk and reviewing risk;
  • Analytically strong and focus on improvements with a focus on delivering quality;
  • Result-oriented who likes to work in a team.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills;

  • Business degree or equivalent
  • Preferable: 2/3 years' experience in Financial Services
