Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager/Head of Sales to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving growth, developing partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the event and creative industries and a passion for fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Planning: Working with the Board of Directors, develop and implement a comprehensive sales development plan, aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships and onboard new clients. Working with the Client Services Director, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Proposal Development: Oversee the preparation of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our services.

Sales Performance: Set and achieve sales targets, preparing regular reports on sales activities and outcomes.

Team Leadership: lead and work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager, and other team members.

Collaboration: Work closely with the event and production teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's profile and attract new business.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve business goals.

Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in business development, with a significant portion within the event and creative industries. As our clients are global and currently based in the UK, Ireland and throughout Europe and the US, we are looking for an individual to join us that has significant prior experience in the UK/Ireland/Europe market in particular. Candidates with a track record of winning business in the corporate healthcare and tech sectors are of particular interest.
