Ryanair Labs, a cutting-edge digital & IT innovation center, is the brain behind Europe's Premier Travel Experience for our customers. As an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst, your primary mission will revolve around crafting and executing internal risk and compliance strategies concerning Ryanair's IT systems. Your journey at Ryanair Labs will entail collaborating with the management and development teams to pinpoint potential risks and compliance hurdles, as well as supervising the implementation of corrective measures. This role offers an exhilarating opportunity for proactive individuals to thrive within a fast-paced MIS environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of the Ryanair IT ecosystem, focusing on IT risks and controls to pinpoint areas that require attention and avenues for strategic advice.
  • Support the yearly PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley, GDPR compliance initiatives through continuous testing and assessment of the efficacy of critical control activities.
  • Conduct ongoing validation of assurance/controls efficacy.
  • Regularly evaluate IT risks and the strengths and weaknesses of internal controls.
  • Handle the creation and reporting of deviations stemming from monitoring and assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with various IT and business teams to tackle issues, maintain consistent communication with control owners and management to deliver findings, secure acknowledgment, and offer remedial suggestions.
  • Provide guidance to IT and business stakeholders on optimal control practices embedded within their workflows to mitigate risks, enhance efficiency, and bolster financial performance.
  • Effortlessly engage with internal and external auditors for technology audit operations and devise a comprehensive plan to meet all IT audit requisites.
  • Maintain clear and robust documentation of standard operating policies/procedures/guidelines to support continuous assurance endeavors.

Your Profile Should Include

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • An advanced degree or relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRSIC, CISM are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Information Security or a related domain.
  • Solid grasp of information systems audit concepts, general IT controls, application controls, and technology risks.
  • Proficiency in implementing IT governance protocols and controls for PCI, SOX, or GDPR.
  • Experience in working with and auditing cloud technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving prowess with a knack for innovative thinking.
  • Keen attention to detail, encompassing adept issue-spotting, pattern recognition, and anomaly identification.
  • Demonstrated prowess in communication and influence-building.
