Why This Role Is Pivotal:

As a visionary, you will generate imaginative, sustainable, and pioneering packaging ideas that align with brand strategies, consumer demands, and market trends. Leveraging your exceptional communication skills and teamwork acumen, you will collaborate closely with multifunctional teams to integrate innovative packaging solutions into new product development workflows.

Staying abreast of industry regulations and norms, you will ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and quality standards. Researching and appraising new packaging materials and technologies, you will enhance functionality, sustainability, and cost efficiency.

Crafting prototypes for novel packaging designs, you will oversee testing for functionality, longevity, and consumer appeal while identifying avenues for process enhancement, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement in the packaging innovation continuum.

You will lead sustainability and NPD drives by incorporating eco-friendly components and design principles, striving to reduce environmental footprints throughout the packaging lifecycle.

Your Proficiencies:

10 years' experience in packaging. Bachelor's or advanced degree in Packaging Design/Engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrated expertise in front-end innovation, packaging design & engineering, and leading ideation sessions, creating openings for our markets and clients. Familiarity with sustainable packaging methods and materials. Proven track record of R&D project delivery from concept to launch. Technical acumen in fiber-based packaging, rigid plastic, and flexible films. Experience in formulating new materials and configurations with external collaborators.
