What we do:- Transfer Agency Department ensures accurate processing and maintenance of shareholder registers for funds administered by BNY Mellon.
- Lead Analysts oversee precise and timely processing of investors' transactions and client communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance controls.
- Responsible for written and oral correspondence with clients and investors.
In this role, you'll drive impact through:
Deal Management:
- Ensure deals adhere to fund guidelines and regulatory standards with zero error tolerance.
- Monitor deal acknowledgments, cash reports, and dealing confirmations within set timelines.
- Maintain accurate transfer agency registers and coordinate with valuation departments.
- Communicate operational issues promptly to management and address client queries proactively.
Client Servicing:
- Act as the main contact for clients on operational issues and service requests.
- Participate in new fund launches and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
- Oversee client servicing functions and maintain professional relationships with key client contacts.
Work Scheduling and People Management:
- Plan departmental resources in consultation with the Manager.
- Mentor staff for career development and provide necessary training and challenges.
- Allocate operational tasks effectively and ensure staff growth.
Quality Control:
- Ensure adherence to standard procedures and controls by all staff.
- Review checklists and procedures for completeness and accuracy.
Management Reporting and Projects:
- Compile management information systems and ensure timely project completion.
- College Degree preferred. Minimum years' experience in Investor Services/Transfer Agency.
- Client Service - ability to manage client expectations and relationships.
- Demonstrate strong business and product knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in multitasking, working under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
