Our client, an IT/ data integration consultancy, is looking to hire a proactive Project Director to oversee project teams and ensure timely project completion. Project Director Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting in establishing a Project Management Office.
  2. Liaising with stakeholders to address project requirements.
  3. Maintaining knowledge of identified platforms within the portfolio.
  4. Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  5. Compiling project reports and addressing issues with management.
  6. Resource planning and pipelining to support project growth.
  7. Ensuring projects adhere to best practices and PMO policies.

Within Projects:

  1. Discussing project parameters with clients, executives, and technical teams.
  2. Planning project blueprints, defining scope, identifying resources, and setting deadlines.
  3. Leading the project team and supervising project stages.
  4. Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
  5. Communicating project updates and changes effectively.
  6. Delivering completed solutions to clients.

Project Director Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in senior management roles.
  2. 15+ years in project/program management.
  3. Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field.
  4. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  5. Attention to detail and strong people skills.
  6. Understanding of multiple project management practices and software development life cycle.
  7. Knowledge of on-premise and cloud-based solutions, data integration.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft, Azure, and associated platforms.
