We are seeking an Electrical Safety Program Manager with expertise in the design, operation, inspection, servicing, and maintenance of electrical systems.

The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual with a strong knowledge base in electrical system design, operation, and maintenance, as well as a proven track record in developing and enhancing electrical safety programs and policies.

They should be skilled in creating roadmaps for standardizing and centralizing safe electrical work practices, demonstrating leadership in driving change across diverse teams and regions.

The candidate must be capable of conducting thorough analysis of trends in electrical system reports and internal/external audit findings regarding electrical and associated risks.



You will be part of a diverse team consisting of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other key roles.

You will collaborate with various teams within AWS to ensure the highest safety and security standards are met while providing abundant capacity at competitive costs for our clients.

Key job responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge of Electrical Safety regional regulatory requirements and industry best practices, developing compliance systems and programs accordingly
  • Enhance maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems, including audits to ensure compliance with local codes and global standards
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and other stakeholders on changes to maintenance programs, aligning with insurance requirements and conducting system inspections and testing
  • Conduct inspections and oversee operations to verify compliance with design, equipment specifications, and safety standards
  • Assist in product development and testing for operational and construction departments
  • Conduct regional audits of electrical system maintenance practices, identifying deviations and implementing necessary corrective actions
  • Analyze trends in electrical system maintenance reports, escalating issues as needed to drive maintenance improvements or immediate corrective actions
  • Enhance installation, commissioning, and inspection processes related to electrical systems, including audit practices
  • Provide support for the global electrical safety program when required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in technical product or program management
  • Proficiency in project management, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
  • Ability to manage programs across cross-functional teams and coordinate release schedules
  • Familiarity with international product safety, electrical safety codes, and regulatory standards such as CUE, IEC, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, ANSI/RIA 15.06, NFPA 70E, UL 508A, and IEC 60204
