Davies are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team in Dublin.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will join an established team working in a busy accounts role.
What will your day look like:
- Data inputting using various software packages, including Sage & Excel. Good knowledge of excel is essential.
- Accurate recording of supplier invoices.
- Managing Payment runs to suppliers.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Managing and reconciling the creditors ledger.
- Assisting with month end closing & preparing bank reconciliations
- Assisting in preparing and monitoring cash flows and budgets
- Ad hoc duties as required to support Finance function.
Abilities And Knowledge:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player with flexible and hands-on approach where required
