The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the Senior Process Scientist role will make an impact:

  • Provide technical subject matter expertise and investigative support to commercial manufacturing operations.
  • Lead technical support to new product introductions and product transfers.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational excellence.
  • Support continuous process verification and work with impacted functions to address any trends observed.
  • Lead change management through technical risk assessment and running technical studies as required.
  • Provide technical direction to resolve complex technical problems as a key contributor with a strong scientific focus.
  • Proficient in analysing technical data from multiple sources in a methodical manner employing appropriate analysis packages, to form sound scientific recommendations to support decision making at the site.
  • Highly competent in technical writing capability to write high quality scientific protocols and reports, including regulatory documents.
  • Lead manufacturing quality investigation teams through product impact assessments and designing as well as running technical studies as required.
  • Supervision and mentoring of more junior team members.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Degree in Science, Chemistry or Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A motivated and flexible self-starter operating with minimum supervision and managing tasks through to completion.
  • Demonstrated strong team-working skills, including ability to work and influence effectively across functions on and off site.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way.
