KNOW THE ROLE

The Project Manager will join the exciting and growing Brown Thomas Arnotts Concession on-boarding team.You will be responsible for the project management activities relating to the technical on-boarding of Brown Thomas Arnotts concession brand partners.

Our concession brand partners are responsible for developing integration feeds per BTA specification to share their product, price and stock updates in order to trade both online and in our stores. Successful delivery of this program directly attributes to key commercial KPI's for growth across both banners. Responsibilities include:

  • Work as part of the Digital & IT teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Execute the end-to-end delivery of a new concession onboard, ensuring any associated business change needs are identified and managed
  • Work closely with Trading, Customer Service, Store Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless implementation, in order to maximise the multichannel opportunity of our concession partners
  • Establish and manage the policies and procedures for go live dates
  • Effective management of concession's and/or their third party vendor relationships.
  • Clarify, understand and document project requirements, considering all dependencies and implications
  • Create information architecture and specifications as required
  • Facilitate the testing, quality assurance and feedback process, involving the proper reviewers and sign-off
  • Communicate with key business stakeholders and relevant areas of the business about project status, technical capabilities, issues, and enhancements
  • Management reporting on project status in line with business standard approach

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a project manager preferably from an eCommerce or Retail background.The ideal candidate will have all or a combination of the following qualifications/skills:

General

  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Understanding of project lifecycles
  • Strong problem solving skills – can overcome issues, propose solutions and make commercial decisions
  • Commercial/retail understanding to ensure effective, fit for purpose implementation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility to work in rapidly changing environment within a larger corporation
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new technology platforms quickly
  • Demonstrates a flexible & agile approach to work, with proven examples of this behaviour

Technical

  • 1+ year project management experience (PRINCE2/PMI preferred[MM1], AGILE experience also desirable)
  • Experience and knowledge of data integration
  • Experience managing Testing/QA programmes
  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Office suite (Excel).

The key experience required includes:

  • Relevant Project Management experience
  • Proven track record in delivering successful projects on budget and on time
  • Strong vendor & stakeholder management skills
  • Ecommerce experience and retail knowledge preferable
