We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our new AI team. This team will be responsible for driving the design and implementation of our advanced AI projects and will play a pivotal role in achieving the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in software engineering, a keen interest in AI and state-of-the-art technology, and a strong desire to collaborate with existing stakeholders to expand this area within UKG.

Responsibilities
  • Lead AI projects using AWS and Google AI services.
  • Design and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions to meet the company's diverse business requirements.
  • Collaborate with our Analytics team to construct secure, efficient data pipelines and ensure technological alignment.
  • Offer technical leadership, mentorship, and direction to future team members.
  • Establish an agile environment that fosters innovation, self-improvement, and development.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the company ahead in its field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience, including senior or lead roles.
  • Proficiency in Golang is highly desirable. Competence in other languages like Python, Java, C++ will be considered.
  • Proven track record of independence and successful product feature delivery to the market.
  • Familiarity with data and analytics ecosystems on major public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure; knowledge of ML Ops and the AI and ML R&D lifecycle.
  • In-depth grasp and experience with microservice architectures.
  • Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB.
  • Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology and TDD (Test Driven Development).
  • Proven expertise in agile methodologies, system design, and distributed computing.
