The Lord Mayor's Lounge

With a view of Dublin's iconic St. Stephen's Green, this well-established drawing room has always been the preferred spot for the finest Afternoon Tea in Dublin city. Throughout the years, distinguished individuals, discerning families, as well as locals and visitors, have come together here to enjoy moments of refined indulgence.

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Ensure team collaboration for optimal service and meeting guest needs.
  • Check staff grooming and attire, and address any issues.
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities, such as setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, cleanliness, and use of FIFO.
  • Conduct regular inventories and manage stock and supplies.
  • Supervise dining areas to ensure guest well-being, safety, and quality service.
  • Manage maintenance work orders.
  • Support in staff recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, and motivation; lead by example and be the primary contact for the Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures; report incidents and complete necessary training.
  • Maintain professional appearance, uphold confidentiality, and welcome guests according to standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
  • Foster positive relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns effectively.
  • Ensure quality standards are met, propose efficiency improvements, and promote safety and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Verify information accurately and inspect tools and equipment for defects.
  • Carry, lift, and move objects up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Handle objects of various sizes with precision and coordination.
  • Navigate through different spaces and handle physical tasks effectively.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required by supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory role.

License or Certification: Not required
