​What you need to know

Our Offaly based client is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to join their team.

The client is a globally renowned services provider for the medical and healthcare market. Additionally having a strong presence in Ireland.

As Facilities Supervisor you will be focussed on overseeing Facilities Technicians ensuring plant safety and uptime is at its optimum.

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • HSSE focused, attending HSSE meetings.
  • Involvement In safety audits, risk assessments and planning on First Aider coverage.
  • Preparation of preventative maintenance and calibration schedules ensuring compliance.
  • Generating and delegating work orders and ensuring work orders are completed.
  • Scheduling third party activities.
  • Involvement with all upgrades regarding the facilities.
  • Reviewing of plant downtime and focussed on making improvements.
  • Involvement with any coaching, training, and mentoring of Facilities Technicians.
  • Focussed on continuous improvement and ultimately ensuring the process is in line with the plan in place. ​

What are we looking for?

  • Lead/Supervisory experience in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to work laterally with other departments such as Engineering, Quality and HR.
  • Exposure to Project Management in a regulated environment would be seen as an advantage.
  • A proactive approach to there day to day and willing to reach goals and targets.
  • Continuous improvement focused.
  • Willing to act as a figure of support and mentoring to their respective team.
