Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our team. The Procurement Coordinator will support our procurement activities by managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our supply chain and production processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Purchase Order Management: Create, process, and track purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and supplies.
  2. Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules and address any discrepancies or issues.
  3. Inventory Monitoring: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinate with the team to forecast and plan for material needs.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
  5. Vendor Relationships: Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  6. Cost Management: Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for Micron Agritech.
  7. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any supply chain disruptions, delays, or quality issues in a timely manner.
  8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and supplier performance for senior management's review.
  9. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability standards.
  10. Support: Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed, including data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role is required.
  2. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  3. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  4. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; experience with procurement software is a plus.
  5. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  7. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  8. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
