The Lead Technical Product Owner will steer the strategic development and management of technical products to ensure alignment with business objectives, market demands, and competitive trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision and Leadership:
    • Support Director of Tech Product in defining and communicating the tech product vision and roadmap.
    • Align tech product strategy with business goals, customer needs, and OPEN Tech Strategy.
    • Lead and inspire the technical product team to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Product Management:
    • Manage the entire tech product lifecycle from design to launch and beyond.
    • Develop and prioritize a product backlog in alignment with business and customer requirements.
    • Collaborate with tech teams, business users, and partners to grasp requirements.
    • Create user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Oversee feature and user story backlog.
    • Lead daily stand-up meetings.
    • Conduct SCRUM agile ceremonies for the team.
    • Determine dependencies and negotiate solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Stay informed about technological advancements and industry trends.
    • Understand complex technical issues and facilitate problem-solving discussions.
    • Ensure product compliance with technical, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Utilize data and analytics to guide product decisions and measure performance.
    • Establish and track key performance indicators for the product.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as a primary liaison between the Open Technology team and business stakeholders.
    • Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to shape product decisions.
    • Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders regularly.
  • Agile and Process Improvement:
    • Advocate for Agile methodologies and continuous improvement within the tech product team.
    • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
    • Monitor and report on product performance, leveraging data for decisions.
  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
    • Identify and mitigate risks throughout product development.
    • Integrate quality assurance processes into product development.
    • Supervise the resolution of technical and customer-facing issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in product management, preferably in a technical field.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Understanding of software development processes and technologies.
