We invest in your career advancement while expecting your talent, ambition, and commitment.About the role:This position at Optum Health Services involves being the first point of contact for inbound EAP (Employee Assistance Program) and behavioral client calls, offering a chance to showcase communication and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment, positively influencing each conversation.This role emphasizes teamwork, care, and proactive support for our members' well-being through assessment, triage, and referrals.Working schedule:This rotational role requires work on a shift basis from Monday to Sunday, with the opportunity for some remote work during unsociable hours and weekends.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the first contact for client EAP and Behavioral support calls
  • Conducting telephonic intake and transferring to suitable support
  • Returning client calls promptly
  • Logging calls accurately
  • Performing various admin tasks and providing support
  • Engaging actively in team meetings
  • Demonstrating a customer-centric approach respecting emotional well-being
  • Possessing essential IT skills
  • Problem-solving and networking abilities
  • Completing all assigned tasks and responsibilities
Required qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a rotating shift pattern, blending office and remote work
  • Strong customer service background
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Effective time management
  • Minimum High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • Collaborative team player
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency is advantageous
  • Experience in a Call Center
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in an EAP setting
