KNOW THE ROLE

As Visual Merchandising Manager for Arnotts, you will responsible for supporting the business to deliver the VM and Creative strategy in line with business goals. This role interacts in all aspects of retail including store operations, head office functions e.g. marketing, buying etc. to execute and fulfil the Visual Merchandising strategy for the Brown Thomas Arnotts Business. Key Responsibilities include:

  • You will review and strategically plan our approach to unique creative and visual concepts ranging from head turning window displays to stunning in-store spaces and consumer touch points. These concepts will be captivating, inspiring and deliver commercially
  • You will identify key trends and opportunities working closely with the Buying Teams & the Store Managers to deliver fresh ideas, which showcase the Brown Thomas Arnotts product range. You will create storyboards to capture the essence of your ideas, which will enable you to influence your business partners ensuring they work with you in the delivery of these concepts
  • You will develop the stores visual focus in a forward thinking way engaging all business partners and championing operational excellence in terms of standards across all areas of the business
  • You will lead and coach your team to expand their involvement in delivering the creative concept, ensuring they take pride in the visual impact of the store at all times
  • You will have responsibility for the implementation of the Visual Calendar as briefed in conjunction with developing ideas from research right through to high impact instillations, tying in with seasonal and product promotions, driving forward our reputation and brand and delivering on sales
  • You will coordinate with Marketing & Buying teams ensuring creative delivery on key retail events, eg, Christmas at Brown Thomas Arnotts, Seasonal Fashion Shows, Product launches, Concession launches, Customer Events, Promotional Days

  • A strong influencer who is able to balance commercial decisions with creative solutions
  • You will have the ability to work at a strategic level, planning ahead whilst also maintaining a hands on approach in the delivery of your creative concept
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting store objectives, delivering on timelines and within budget
  • You will have excellent commercial acumen and deliver a creative solution which drives footfall and sales
  • Create and nurture mutually beneficial relationships across the business
