JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you eager to jump into the fast-moving world of InsurTech? We're seeking a passionate Risk Intern to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and gain valuable experience in the cutting-edge overlap of insurance and technology.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to developing the Risk Function and executing the risk management framework schedule
  • Ensure all policies, processes, and procedures are documented and effective
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and reporting risks
  • Conduct root cause analysis and identify trends
  • Review quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessments
  • Monitor risk metrics like Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk Appetite (RAS)
  • Produce high-quality reports
  • Collaborate with Business Teams
  • Promote a strong risk culture
  • Support training development and coordination as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Relevant third-level qualification in risk, finance, economics, or actuarial
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive and motivated mindset
COMPETENCIES / SOFT SKILLS
  • Drive change and continuous improvement
  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaboration
  • Proficiency in English, other European languages a plus
  • Adaptability to a dynamic startup environment
