The Role

The Finance Department is responsible for the provision of timely and insightful financial information to the Board and to Management. It also has responsibility for the ongoing development of the company's internal control procedures and financial information system to fulfil regulatory and statutory requirements.

We are seeking Financial Controller to join the Finance Department. This role will lead a team of financial professionals ensuring timely and accurate financial information is produced in order for the Group to meet established goals and objectives while ensuring statutory requirements are adhered to.

This role will see you oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts by the team. You will be responsible for annual internal and external audits maintaining good collaborative working relationships with management across the Group.

About You

Successful candidates will have:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a minimum of 10 years' experience within a fast-paced finance department.
  • Demonstrated experience of working as leading a team.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to operate on own initiative.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organise and work with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics AX or similar financial packages.
  • Strong understanding of managing enhancements to ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of tax treatment of financial contracts.
