Global Response Operations is looking for a Project Manager to lead initiatives within the organization's central Workforce Planning & Management team by effectively partnering with teams across Global Response Operations to enable appropriate workforce management levers that ensure the right work is prioritized and enabled end-to-end for the correct teams. The purpose of this role is to mature Global Response Operations' management of our most valuable resources - our people - in an increasingly efficient and agile way that smartly adapts to the fast-changing and fluid risk environment we work within. You will work closely with our data and technical teams as well as business stakeholders to plan requirements, manage key milestones and deliverables, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. This is a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of internal teams across Global Operations and Meta as a whole to enable the success of our internal SME workforces in ensuring that the right talent across Global Response Ops workforces is in the right place at the right time, enabling the achievement of GRO strategic objectives and maintaining operational excellence

Workforce Planning and Management Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Data driven approach to lead the implementation of projects for headcount demand forecasting, prioritization and supply allocation for GRO teams.
  • Work with internal XFNs (GRO, GO, Finance, Recruitment, Mission Control and HR) to support headcount forecasting and supply allocation initiatives, the primary focus is on balancing the supply & demand of headcount.
  • Facilitate change management and escalation process with Finance counterparts for requested changes to headcount targets. Work to minimize downstream impact and communicate appropriately. Partner with the Recruiting team on shifting priorities for hiring.
  • Use data to collaborate with GRO Process and Programs, HR Business Partners, and org leaders to drive organizational design (skills needs, location strategy).
  • Review workforce supply and demand reports to identify potential risk areas and define remediation strategies to address risks.
  • Communicate updates to key, cross-functional stakeholder groups and support the development and execution of roadshows to educate the business on processes and systems.
  • Drive key projects geared towards continuous process improvement, stakeholder education and accountability and team branding / communications.
  • Learn nuances of each GRO sub-org strategy, processes and resourcing needs to enable flexible workforce planning support
  • Identify opportunities to solve problems, enable continuous improvement processes, build mature working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Oversee ongoing demand intake processes, partnering with the business to ensure quick turnarounds and appropriate outcomes are reached
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a mix of operations, capacity planning, performance vendor management or consulting
  • Experience executing and delivering complex operational projects and continual process improvement involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience setting complex programs goals and providing regular feedback to peers, working directly with data, product, and engineering teams to facilitate roadmap planning and execute iterative feature development
  • Strong communication skills and experience creating detailed documentation to provide clarity of scope and progress of initiatives to different stakeholders and audiences.
  • Experience in distilling complex issues into clear, concise, and actionable insights that resonate with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated experience of strong performance in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with analytical tools (Excel, SQL, Bento, Python, etc)
