Vice President – Financial Reporting

A rapidly growing start up is looking to hire for a newly created position as the Vice President of Financial Reporting. This company is going through exciting growth with a presence in America, the UK and Ireland. For this role you can work in the Dublin City office or remotely with the occasional meetings in Dublin. Up to six figure salary, permanent position with flexibility for a self starter. As going through rapid growth preferred start date would be in the next 4-6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities of the Vice President – Financial Reporting
- As part of a small finance team, support the CFO in executing his responsibilities
- Identification & implementation of financial accounting system
- Preparation & reporting of monthly management reports
- Preparation & filing of periodic multi-jurisdictional payroll & VAT returns
- Responsible for all aspects of financial controls & financial reporting within the business.
- Implement a computerized accounting system capable of supporting the business's multi-jurisdictional activities
- Prepare, analyse and present timely and accurate monthly financial reports (to include trial balance, balance sheet, operating statements & cashflows)
- Develop and implement financial processes/internal controls and ensure compliance with same
- Prepare ad hoc management reports as required, particularly cash management reports
- Prepare and oversee the annual financial budgeting process. Regularly review these financial budgets and monitor variances as they arise throughout the relevant accounting period
- Co-ordinate and prepare the necessary information for the purpose of conducting the annual statutory audit, and dealing with audit queries
- Assist with the co-ordination and management the tendering process for various services required
Key requirements of the Vice President – Financial Reporting
- Accountancy qualifcation
- 7 Years PQE with a mix of practice and industry experience
- Self sufficient
