What is the opportunity?

There isafantasticopportunity to jointheSecurityResponseTeam who deal with potential security incidents and urgent security issues for the Group at a high standard and in a manner consistent withtheSecurityResponsepolicy and other policies.

In this Role, you will
  • Provide 24/7 on-call tier-3 majorsecurityincidentresponsecapability
  • Detect & respond to cyber incidents as anintegralpartof BOI Group Security, focusing on data protection, insider threat, incident response, forensicsandthreathunting
  • Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures tominimizethe impact of security incidents.
  • Provideanescalationpoint for Tier-1 and Tier-2 analysts.
  • Perform forensic collection and analysis of electronic assets and devices, scripts and malicious software, and log sources from a variety of systems and applications
Whatwillmakeyoustandout?

You are encouraged to have a high level of technicalproficiencyinthe area of Cyber Security with knowledge of EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), Network and Host Forensics, Malware Analysis,andThreatHunting,thiswillmakeyoustandout

Previous operational experience in a ComputerSecurityIncidentResponseTeam, Security Operations Centre, or Computer Emergency Response Team.

Advancedunderstanding tactics used by APT (advancedpersistent threat),Cyber Crime and other associated threat groups.

Experience in the use of Microsoft Security Technologies such as Defender and Sentinel.

Understand how to analyse for suspicious and malicious activity.

EssentialQualifications

  • Relevant University Degree / Masters,orequivalentexperience
  • Cyber Security Qualifications such as CERT-CSIH, CISSP, CEH, CCE, GCIH, GCIA, GMON etc

The Incident Response Analyst will leverage a variety of tools and resources to proactively detect, investigate, and mitigate emerging and persistent threats impacting BOI networks, systems, users, and applications. This role will involve coordination and communication with technical and nontechnical teams, including security leadership and business stakeholders.

The Analyst will work within a team environment providing leadership and direction. The Analyst must be a self-starter with the ability to research and solve problems independently but must also be able to collaborate in a dynamic team environment.#LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
