POSITION SUMMARY:
The packaging training specialist is responsible for delivering a high standard of training to the packaging team to ensure they are competent using packaging equipment, visual inspection and have a clear understanding of the process from a safety, compliance and efficiency perspective
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, revise and monitor training plans for packaging teams and the progress of each team member
- Ensuring continual improvement of Packaging documentation (SOP's MBR's, OJT's, etc) for areas of responsibility to ensure they are current, accurate, and clear.
- Hands on training of new and current team members while ensuring they are competent to perform the duties in Packaging and visual inspection
- Become SME in Visual inspection of bags as per current regulations and deliver this training to team members
- Keep up to date with industry trends via conference e.g. PDA and attend when required
- Support a safe working environment by complying with all pertinent environmental health and safety practices, rules, and regulations.
- Generating reports and presentations as required
- Ability to travel for training both national & international when required
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Essential/Desirable/Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 2 years secondary hands-on packaging experience in a GMP envoirment
- Understanding of serialisation and how it applies to Pharma industry
- Detailed oriented
- Excel, Word experience
- Qualifications
- Leaving certificate or similar
- Train the trainer qualified
- Train the trainer qualified
- Third level education in Lean manufacturing or similar
