Applications are open for a temporary role as a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 in UCD School of Agricultural and Food Science.
The position is part of an international collaborative project called MAPSERS-C, focusing on predicting carbon emissions from agriculturally used peat soils. The research involves using process-based models like ECOSSE & DNDC to parameterize these soils and validate the findings with in-situ carbon emissions data from Ireland and New Zealand.
As a Research Fellow, you will work on a research program under the guidance of a Principal Investigator. The role emphasizes enhancing research skills, publishing in academic journals, developing funding proposals, mentoring graduate students, and gaining experience in research-led teaching.
Candidates should have appropriate qualifications and experience for this role.
Closing date: 12:00 noon on 18th June 2024.
