Team/Role Overview

The Global Risk Review (GRR) Analyst will report to the Team Lead and provide analytical support for the Regional or Global GRR teams. This role involves various activities such as validating inputs to determine risk ratings, supporting Lead Reviewers in managing Business Monitoring and Reviews, and active participation in Business Monitoring and Review activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and analyze situations that pose risks to Citi using tools like credit reports, scorecards, and risk systems.
  • Effectively identify and assess trends and risks using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Communicate analysis findings to Lead Reviewers.
  • Collaborate with Lead Reviewers and regional teams on various GRR activities including preparation, maintenance, and verification of input processes, data analysis, and presentation preparation.
  • Gather deliverables and prepare presentations to meet internal and Regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer's team in special projects and be open to occasional travel for in-person reviews.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration with a background in Credit, Accounting, or financial statement analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting standards and formal credit training is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other software, along with excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, prioritize tasks, analyze large datasets, and follow strict procedures.
  • Passionate about building relationships, taking initiative, and solving problems in a dynamic environment.
