In this Role, you will
  • Champion risk awareness and promote risk management as a core consideration of decision-making within Group Technology & Customer Solutions, supporting the roll-out of the Risk Management Framework RMF.
  • Actively support teams to handle their risk profile, ensuring consistent identification, assessment, mitigation & reporting of risks and controls
  • Advise in the formulation of robust actions to remediate risk issues or control deficiencies.
  • Collate and analyse related data on RADAR to identify key messages / trend analysis for input into the Divisional team's planning and monitoring activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across Senior Management within Group Technology & Customer Solutions and positively influence the efficiency / effectiveness of the division's risk management agenda.
  • Undertake Control Testing from both a design and operational effectiveness perspective, in line with the Business Control Framework.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on behalf of the divisional team for presentation to Head of Group Technology & Customer Solutions Risk, Divisional Risk Committee and Business Unit Risk Committees.
  • Support the business unit operational teams through guidance and challenge to address significant trigger events, e.g., changes in activities, changes to processes/suppliers, occurrence of a material event, deterioration of key risk indicators, etc.
What will make you stand out?

Proven risk management knowledge, skills and experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in internal controls, operational risk or assurance testing roles, with a formal risk and /or compliance qualification will make you stand out

You have strong team building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility at all levels of the business with project management capabilities.

Strong report writing capability coupled with analytical acumen and the ability to manage a broad and diverse data set.

Proven experience in data analysis and report design/development would be an advantage, along with experience with conducting control testing and / or control design.

Knowledge of industry standards in operational and conduct risk management, e.g., Basel requirements and CPC and awareness and understanding of Control Environment, Policy Compliance and monthly RCF's.

The Divisional Business Risk Team ensures there is a consistent and aligned approach to risk management across the Division, from a first line perspective. This team is responsible for supporting, guiding, advising and coordinating the business units within Group Technology & Customer Solutions as they execute their responsibility for managing, monitoring and reporting of risk in their respective units.

This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as ITC, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager. #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
