About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Process Engineer
with deep expertise in
large molecule pharmaceutical manufacturing
to join our client's world-class team in Cork.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge biopharmaceutical operations within a global leader dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process engineering activities for large molecule (biologics) manufacturing, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical leadership in process design, scale-up, and technology transfer.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing processes to enhance efficiency, yield, and reliability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, validation, and project engineering teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.
Ensure all process documentation, risk assessments, and validation protocols are up to date.
Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across teams.
Requirements
10+ years' experience
in pharmaceutical process engineering, with a strong focus on
large molecule/biologics manufacturing
.
Proven track record in process design, optimization, and technical problem-solving.
Deep knowledge of GMP, regulatory guidelines, and biopharma production technologies.
Experience in large-scale facility operations and/or capital projects is a strong plus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
MUST have the legal right to work in Ireland
