, we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Level 1 Deskside Support Engineer who aims to become an integral part of our Managed Services Team.
The role involves working on a dedicated team for a prestigious client, supporting an evolving multi-technology IT environment.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to various technologies, including Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud (Azure), and the latest Microsoft applications & solutions.
This position is based onsite with our customer in Dublin City Centre.
** This is a 3-month contract from 1st September to 29th November**
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring, managing, and supporting the customer's infrastructure
Provisioning accounts and equipment
Providing desktop support
Supporting Windows Desktops, Outlook, Networks, MS Office, O365
Configuring Microsoft Server, Exchange, Active Directory
Maintaining and building documentation
Hardware troubleshooting
Managing interactions with third parties
Application troubleshooting and support
Imaging and deployment
Managing file permissions and access rights
Configuring and supporting mobile devices
Experience requirements:
At least 2 years in a deskside support environment
Application support at Level 1
Support experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, MS Office
Experience with Office 365 and virtualization is advantageous
Customer service and call handling skills
Preferred certifications and experience:
Microsoft Specialist certification in Windows 10
Microsoft MCP for Client or Server OS
CompTIA A+
CompTIA Net+
Exposure to the following technologies:
All Microsoft Operating Systems
Windows Servers
Virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V)
SMB Networking Environments
Unified Communications
Remote Access Solutions
