Inspection & Quality Control:Nioclás Ó Conchubhair Teo is looking for a Goods Inwards Operative to join their busy team.This is a permanent position and the successful candidate will work 39 hours per week on a Monday to Saturday roster basis, but we are also flexible with hours.Job Role: Goods Inwards OperativeJob PurposeThe Goods Inwards Operative is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, and recording of incoming goods and materials.This role plays a critical part in maintaining supply chain efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesGoods Receipt:Accept deliveries of goods and materials from suppliers.Cross-check delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy.Record all incoming goods into the inventory management system.Inspect goods for quality, damage, or discrepancies upon arrival.Report and document any issues, damages, or missing items to the appropriate department.Work with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with company and supplier standards.Processing online orders.Inventory Management:Accurately label and store goods in designated areas.Maintain up-to-date records of received goods.Assist in inventory cycle counts and audits as required.Coordination & Communication:Liaise with suppliers, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve delivery issues, damages or stock issues.Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and stock accuracy.Health & Safety Compliance:Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including manual handling practices and PPE requirements.Keep the goods inwards area clean, organized, and hazard-free.Continuous Improvement:Suggest and implement improvements to the goods inwards process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills (e.g., Excel etc).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to quality and process improvement.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in goods inwards environment is preferred but not essential.Knowledge of inventory systems.BenefitsOnsite ParkingClosed on Sundays and Bank HolidaysEmployee DiscountJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingStore discountWork Location: In personReference ID: Goods Inwards
