Goods In Operative - Temporary Full Time (6 Months)Applications are invited for the position of Goods In Operative with Williams Gate Master Victualler, Liosbaun Industrial Estate, Galway, on a temporary full-time basis for 6 months.Role and Responsibilities:Manage the receipt of all incoming goods, utilising in-house computer systemFlexibility to multitask and work within the role including working in Chilled & Frozen area'sAccuracy and attention to deal is a key requirementStock control duties – Rotation & StocktakesProcess stock returns, damaged stock and out of date productsMaintaining the area and keeping it clean and tidyAssisting customersEnsuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to dateEnsuring compliance with all Food Safety, Health & Safety and Security requirementsOther associated duties as requested by your managerGood organisational and time management abilitiesBe a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervisionBe dedicated and flexibleHave experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environmentHave Reach and Counterbalance forklift driving experience and hold an up-to-date operator's certificate preferred but not essentialA professional approach to their work and dealing with colleagues, management, and business partnersThe ability to work with and adhere to standard operating proceduresA strong awareness of health and safety & food safety requirements
