What we're looking for
SurveyMonkey is looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our international team in Dublin
In this role, you'll be a key partner to Legal, Sales Leadership, and Revenue Operations, reviewing revenue contracts and ensuring compliance with ASC 606.
You'll also help lead an offshore team that handles billing, collections, and credit assessment, ensuring smooth financial operations.
This position reports to the U.S.-based Director of Revenue Accounting and offers the opportunity to impact our global finance team significantly.
What you'll be working on
Review, approve and sign revenue contracts with customers, focusing on non-standard terms and revenue impact.
Advise Sales & Legal on revenue implications to customer contracts and suggest alternatives.
Collaborate with auditors on AR and revenue-related matters.
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Help oversee an offshore AR team (billing, collections, cash application, credit assessment).
Enhance systems by partnering with business systems teams to improve AR/revenue function.
Drive efficiencies through process improvements.
Support ad hoc projects as needed.
We'd love to hear from people with
6+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and technology companies
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent)
Experience working with Sales, Legal, Revops, and Accounting teams
In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15
Experience with SaaS revenue and billing is preferred
Experience working with offshore teams is a plus
Experience in Salesforce, Zuora, Revpro, Netsuite is a plus
