We are currently seeking a Revenue Manager to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Revenue Manager at ICON, you will oversee the revenue management and financial reporting processes for clinical trial projects. Your role will involve ensuring accurate revenue recognition, financial forecasting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the financial integrity of projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Managing the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and project milestones.
- Collaborating with project teams to monitor financial performance, including revenue, FTE requirements, unbilled position.
- Delivery of all required audit (both internal and external) documentation and ensuring full and effective compliance with SoX requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls, and contributing to month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Mentor and develop direct reports, as well as wider team through the direct reports, minimising the need for personal involvement in detailed process other than at a supervisory and/or escalation level
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving financial efficiencies across revenue management activities.
You will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A CPA or similar qualification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in revenue management, financial analysis, or accounting, ideally within a clinical research or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial management systems and tools, with strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage financial teams.
