Medical Secretary/Administrative Assistant Location: Dublin 24 Rate: €17.74 - €22.81 per hour Position Type: Full-Time. TEMPORARY CONTRACT Are you ready to play a vital role in the fast-paced environment of a busy medical facility? Our client, based in Dublin 24 are seeking a dedicated medical secretary/Admissions Officer to join their Emergency Department team. Working Hours: Shifts scheduled across 7 days. Flexibility to work shifts covering mornings (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM), afternoons (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM), evenings (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM), and nights (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Generous shift allowances and competitive hourly rates. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Emergency Department staff. Assist with maintaining patient records, charts, and documentation. Coordinate communication between medical staff, patients, and visitors. Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and urgency. Assist with scheduling appointments, procedures, and consultations. Ensure the smooth operation of administrative processes within the department. Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative role in a medical setting is preferred At least 2 year's administration/scheduling experience is essential. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and emergency situations. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy.
