Braun is one of the world's leading healthcare suppliers.We employ over 68,000 people in 64 countries and operate in 18 therapy fields, focusing on hospitals, medical practices, pharmacies, nursing, emergency services and at-home care.We are celebrating 45 years in Ireland and are recognised as a Great Place to Work in Ireland.Role overview: The Clinical Support Specialist Orthopaedics will join the Aesculap team and provide clinical support for strategic accounts in the Leinster area.The Aesculap division is a long-standing partner for surgical and interventional treatment concepts in inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on orthopaedic surgery among other areas.The Aesculap Academy has supported medical practitioners, hospital personnel and hospital management since ****.Job Title:Clinical Support Specialist OrthopaedicsDuration:PermanentReporting to:Aesculap Business LeadLocation:Leinster BasedRole:Clinical Support Specialist Orthopaedics – responsible for maintaining an existing customer base and becoming an integral part of the sales team by providing clinical support for strategic accounts in the Leinster area.ResponsibilitiesProvide in theatre support to Consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products/orthopaedic implant systemsProvide accurate information regarding all products and their indications for use to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staffThis is a clinical/educational role.Organize and facilitate educational/clinical advice to customers in an acute settingProvide first class service and seamless supply to customer including implants systems training, supporting the theatre team to ensure surgical procedures proceed successfullyProvide Clinical Support in Orthopaedic theatre setting for B Braun Hip and Knee (Primary & Revision) procedures to Surgeon/Nurse requirementsRepresent the Company and its products in a professional manner at all timesProvide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of productsProvide accurate information regarding all products and their indications for use to Orthopaedic consultants and nursing staffProvide first class service and seamless supply to customer including training, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting the theatre team to ensure the operation proceeds successfullyEstablish and maintain relationships with key accounts/customersKeep abreast of developments and trends within the territory and monitor & feedback competitor activity to the Aesculap Business LeadLiaise on a clinical basis with prospective and existing customers to monitor clinical satisfaction and needsDevelop good clinical and business relationships with Regional Key Opinion LeadersPromote and grow the key product range with relevant customers with a clinical need for the product, focusing on Orthopaedic Surgeons and hospitalsDevelop the B Braun Aesculap Orthopaedic/Power Tools portfolioDeliver education and training on a group and individual basis within the Hospital setting – Theatre & HSSDAttend exhibitions and conferences both nationally and internationally as requiredMaintain appropriate and up-to-date product knowledge on the Company's range of products/services to ensure accuracy of communications and a strong reputation with customersAptitude and AbilityGood interpersonal skillsTeam player, also able to work unsupervised and use initiativePositive outlookStrong sense of urgency to respond to customer needsGood communicator with the ability to deal with customers effectively at all levelsAbility to coordinate and train other staff and customersResilient – able to operate in a challenging and fast-paced environmentKnowledge and SkillsProblem solving skills and decision makingExcellent communication and personal networking skillsBasic RequirementsExperience in OrthopaedicsExperience of theatreProven experience building customer relationshipsExperience of the local healthcare sectorClean Full Driving LicenseFlexibility to travel regularly throughout Leinster and further as neededMust be eligible to work in IrelandBenefits25 Days Annual LeaveBonus SchemeCompany Car/Car AllowanceCompany Pension SchemeHealth InsuranceRecognition and Long Service awardsHealth and Well-being AllowanceFinancial Further Education SupportWe cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects individual strengths, views, and experiences, believing differences enable us to be a better team and drive innovation and results.We are passionate about improving people's health.We are passionate about our people.Passionate about our business.Passionate about B.
