Advert LDD, part of Acteon Group, is a marine and subsea foundation specialist working in the Offshore Renewables, Oil and Gas and Offshore Construction sectors.
Using our extensive in-field experience, we design, engineer, build and operate world class pile-installation, lifting equipment and drilling equipment to deliver tubular foundations of any size, in any geology, anywhere.
LDD Ltd will be supporting an Offshore Wind Project located in France, by delivering a subsea drill system designed to create large diameter holes up to 9.5m in diameter in the seabed and install casing structures for the installation of tubular monopile foundations.
LDD are currently looking to add a Project Engineer to their Cork team on a full-time permanent basis.
Duties/Responsibilities

• LDD grouting provide equipment and personnel for new offshore installations.
Our service relates to injecting cement grout products into subsea foundations.The Project Engineer role includes both onshore and offshore roles.Onshore as part of a project management team working with clients and subcontractors to ensure contracts are delivered safely and effectively in line with contract requirements.

• Offshore the successful engineer will be part of an installation team tasked with operating and managing the offshore equipment as well as logging daily reports and project related paperwork.

• Project delivery includes generating multiple project documents relating to equipment planning, logistics, scheduling, managing operating procedures and standard QHSE documentation.
Commercially the project engineer will aid the project manager with monthly invoicing and project budgeting

• Training and certification is provided by the company
Requirements

• High level written English

• Familiarity with Microsoft programs

• Engineering qualification such as mechanical, automotive or civils

• A certain amount of physical fitness is required as medical exams and training for offshore certification will be required as part of the employment

• Working as part of a larger team and negotiating with various suppliers and subcontractors will be part of the role and so candidate should be sociable.

• Commute to Cork office or yard required
