Job Title: Parts AdvisorResponsible to: Parts ManagerMain Purpose of Job:We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join the Connolly Motor Group, within the Parts team in Mercedes-Benz Galway.The role:The successful candidate will be required to work within the Parts team to continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers.This will require you to continually strive to ensure the appropriate maintenance of stock is available and thus the needs of the customers are delivered.Role Responsibilities:Maintenance of stock including processing parts, deliveries, orders and returnsDealing with aftersales customers both on the phone and in personDelivery of products to trade customersDealing with customer queriesCo-Ordinate daily parts deliveriesPromote accessories salesPromotion/ sales/securing of orders from existing and prospective customersGeneral Warehouse dutiesThe person:Skills and Competencies:Ability to work in a teamAbility to work on own initiativeResults orientatedInterested in working in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail is fundamental to ensure quality is consistently deliveredKeen interest in the Motor IndustryContinuous improvement mindsetDriver license is requiredFlexibility is requiredStrong communication skills with internal and external customers, suppliers and the manufacturerBuild strong interdepartmental relationships and pay close attention to other department requirementsProficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Email)Experience of using Kerridge – Desirable not essentialA Technical background would be a distinct advantage
