Oradeo Recruitment is currently recruiting a Senior Commercial Manager for a prestigious Tier 1 contractor based in Dublin.
This is a key leadership position with strategic responsibility for the commercial performance of major projects across the building and data centre sectors.
Responsibilities:Lead all commercial aspects of multiple large-scale construction projects, from tender to final account
Develop and manage commercial strategies in collaboration with project and executive teams
Oversee cost control, forecasting, and value engineering across project portfolios
Manage and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals
Engage in contract negotiation and administration, ensuring risk is effectively managed
Ensure compliance with commercial procedures, reporting standards, and financial controls
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure project success
Monitor subcontractor procurement, performance, and payment processes
Support business development and pre-construction teams in bidding and client negotiations
Requirements:Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
10+ years' experience in commercial management roles with a main contractor
Demonstrable track record managing high-value building or mission-critical projects
In-depth knowledge of various forms of contract (including NEC and FIDIC desirable)
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent commercial acumen and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in commercial systems, cost reporting, and data analysis
Based in or willing to relocate to Dublin
