Senior Commercial Manager - Dublin

Opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join the Data Centre Team. The Commercial Manager takes overall responsibility for, in conjunction with the DiC/AM, and manages with limited direct involvement, to ensure a successful project outcome is delivered while maintaining relationships and maximising the commercial returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with the customer, their representatives, and other 3rd parties on commercial issues, including the agreement of additional monies.
  2. Manage costs and value for the project, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place.
  3. Identify unacceptable terms and conditions and negotiate contracts with clients and employers.
  4. Have detailed knowledge and experience of the project cost management system and provide guidance to others.
  5. Devise innovative systems to control and monitor direct works cost and financial performance.
  6. Manage complex Project Cost Reporting systems, with the capacity to interrogate data and identify trends.
  7. Propose actions in response to changes in client and stakeholder needs and expectations.
  8. Facilitate risk management reviews, identify and classify project and business risks, and propose solutions.
  9. Construct compelling arguments to pursue entitlements.
  10. Lead negotiations with a skilled team to secure acceptable commercial results.
  11. Manage disputes through various resolution processes, understanding legal techniques involved.
  12. Demonstrate leadership aligned with Sisk HSE Group vision and aspirations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Completed a relevant third-level qualification.
  • 15+ years of experience in commercial civils management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Bonds, warranties, insurances, and financial management.
