We are now seeking a strategic and commercially-minded In-House Legal Counsel to join our Legal team in Dublin, Ireland.

Candidate Profile:
Qualified solicitor with 1-3 years PQE
Experience in:
Regulatory matters (outsourcing, distribution, fitness & probity, consumer protection)
Data protection and GDPR
Drafting commercial agreements aligned with IDD, Solvency II, PRIIPs
Irish and EU financial regulatory frameworks
Contentious and non-contentious matters
Broad commercial contracts
Investment products, insurance wrappers, and unit-linked funds
Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic legal advice across the business
Report to and collaborate with the Head of Legal
Manage company secretarial duties, including board updates and regulatory correspondence
Draft and negotiate commercial and transactional contracts
Oversee external legal counsel and manage litigation portfolios
Support operations regarding consumer protection and policyholder rights
Draft policy terms and conditions
Coordinate with compliance and risk teams on regulatory matters
Advise on new product development and legislative changes
Handle GDPR, AML, and KYC compliance
Lead cross-functional projects with legal and commercial impact
