Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is now pleased to invite applications for the position of Quality Officer in Castlefarm.
Reporting to the Castlefarm Site Quality Lead this role requires working to deliver in spec In- process results that will ensure Finished Product Right First Time (RFT) targets are met, food safety and hygiene standards are met and that performance is achieved in customer, regulatory and certification body audits.
The Quality Officer is a key support role to the Site Quality Lead and is recognised as a key player within the site team.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and reporting on in-process results and leading indicators
Ensuring corrective actions are planned and carried out to ensure in process results are maintained in spec to deliver target RFT in Finished Products
Ensure liquid products leaving the Site are tested and released to spec.
Full knowledge of all target- make Customer specifications
Monitoring and verification of Operational Pre-Requisites and CCPs
Monitoring of compliance with GMP/GHP/GDP rules.
Assist with problem solving where product spec or customer expectations are not met.
Seamless interaction with other Site Quality Officers and their roles
Fulfilling the customer requirements for the site.
Leading and improving traceability and record keeping systems such as MIS (Please Note: While these are the core responsibilities, this does not preclude your Manager from assigning other reasonable duties or tasks as required)
Qualifications / What we want to hear from you
1-3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment at FSSC 22000 standard as a minimum
Excellent people skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
Be a team player.
Performance driven with a proven ability to work on own initiative.
A positive, can-do, resilient and flexible attitude.
Good writing and coaching skills.
Self-motivated with a drive to meet targets and achieve results.
Well-developed problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Proven track record of strong organisational skills, and ability to priorities tasks.
Advanced IT Skills.
